Job Description
The crew member role involves assembling and presenting completed treat orders, ensuring all customer areas are clean, safe, and pleasant. This includes stocking, cleaning, and maintaining all customer areas in accordance with restaurant safety and health code standards.
The crew member is also responsible for executing all kitchen operations, ensuring that all prepared foods meet restaurant safety and health standards. This includes preparing treat products quickly and accurately following restaurant, health and safety standards and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
* Communicate clearly, quickly, and politely with co-workers to ensure correct orders are served to customers.
* Prepare treat products according to restaurant, health and safety standards and procedures.
* Operate and maintain restaurant equipment, including chill equipment, safely and effectively.
* Work as a team member to assure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness, and value to each customer.
* Clean work area, organize and stock needed items.
* Control food production process.
* Break down and clean chill area thoroughly every day as assigned by a manager or shift leader.
* Perform various cleaning tasks, including washing counters, tables, restrooms, trash receptacles, and sweeping and mopping floors.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be at least 16 years of age and possess excellent customer service skills, including good manners, proper personal hygiene, a positive attitude, and promptness.
* Quickly and accurately prepare food products following restaurant, health and safety standards and procedures.
* Properly operate and maintain restaurant equipment, including grill, fryer, freezer, and other related cooking equipment while following all health and safety standards.
* Travel quickly in customer service area as much as three times for each customer up to as many as 40 customers per hour of shift.
* Move cases of food/paper products, buckets of sanitizing liquid or cleaner, containers of up to 50 pounds up to 10 times per six-hour shift.
