The Opportunity
We are currently looking to welcome to the Queensland WSP Property and Building team, a Structural Design or Project Engineer. This is a fabulous opportunity for a motivated Engineer to join a team that is delivering some of the largest and most complex building projects in Queensland and nationally.
The current structure of our team, coupled with our ongoing success, means this role will offer you the opportunity to continue to develop your career whilst contributing to local and national building projects. You will enjoy working with talented peers across multiple disciplines, with the opportunity to expand your design skills across other market sectors.
What You Will Do
* Deliver structural designs across commercial, health, education, and civic sectors
* Deliver current engineering projects from inception through to construction in support of technical and commercial standards, within time constraints and cost budgets
* Produce high-quality documentation using Revit, ETABS, RAM Concept & Spacegass / Microstran
* Support client meetings and design reviews
* Contribute to sustainable and resilient design through WSP's Future Ready approach
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
About you
* Bachelor's to Master's level degree in Engineering (Civil/ Structural Engineering)
* Approximately 3 to 7+ years' industry experience on medium/large Australian building structures engineering projects, e.g. commercial, retail, defence, health and education
* Strong client relationship management skills
* Proven track record of concurrently managing multiple projects
* Happy to lead, train and mentor graduate engineers across technical and project delivery aspects
* Experience in post-tension concrete design
