We are seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator to join our team at Sydenham Kindergarten. Your family will love being part of Sydenham Kindergarten, conveniently located in the heart of Sydenham within the Community Hub precinct. We offer funded three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten programs for families in Sydenham, Taylors Lakes, Hillside, and surrounding suburbs. Our kindergarten provides excellent facilities, a warm and welcoming environment, and experienced, nurturing educators. We believe kindergarten is an essential step in childrens lifelong learning journey – building independence, social skills, and self-awareness while preparing for a smooth transition to school. This is a part time, ongoing position working 26.25 hours per week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 5:15pm. Why ECMS? About you You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference. You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child. You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member. You have a drive to grow and improve continually. You value kindness and respect. You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations. You hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate. About the role You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow. You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework. You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
