Wood is currently seeking motivated and experienced Pipefitters with maintenance and turnaround/shutdown experience, to work as part of our team supporting the upcoming 2025 Ampol Shutdown for 5-6 weeks, commencing approx. 6 August.
This is a good short-term opportunity to earn EXCELLENT RATES, while still being based at home.
This is a Brisbane-based role, locally based applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skill set and experience.
We will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.

Demonstrable strong commitment to safetyEnjoy working in a team environment and self-motivatedAbility to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the rolePipe Fitting-Carbon Steel experience requiredPipefitters (not bracket fitters) must be able to read isometric drawings.
Qualifications
Trade qualifiedPrevious Shutdown/T&I; experience is a definite advantageYou will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environmentsMust have in date current Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket to work on Shutdown – validity 3 years from date of issue, not expiring before 30 September 2025Penalty rates applyMust be available for Wood medical immediately.
