The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by washing, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
Responsibilities:
Load, operate and unload the dishwasher properly
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Maintain kitchen inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels and anticipating needed supplies.
Place clean dishes and utensils in their designated storage areas.
Clean garbage cans and other kitchen equipment as required.
Assist kitchen staffs in simple food preparation tasks, such as portioning ingredients, peeling and slicing vegetables, and other tasks as needed.
Follow all standards and protocols for hygiene and safety as set by the establishment.
Attend training and meetings as required.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing equipment
Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Ability to work flexible hours and holidays when necessary
Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
