Kick-start your career in Precision Agriculture with an exciting graduate opportunity supporting our Wimmera customer base.
This entry-level role is designed to develop future talent for careers in Sales, Account Management, and Precision Ag leadership, providing hands-on experience optimising the latest and leading ag machinery and technology available. You'll work closely with experienced professionals across the Emmetts network and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of modern farm technology.
The Opportunity
As a Graduate in our Integrated Solutions team, you'll help customers get the most out of their machinery and technology while building a strong technical and commercial foundation. You'll assist with machine demonstrations, provide precision ag support, and help deliver practical training as your capability develops.
You'll work closely with Sales, Precision Ag, and Aftermarket teams, travel regularly across the network, and represent Emmetts at Field Days, trade events, and customer demonstrations showcasing John Deere's latest technology. This is a development-focused role with structured learning, mentoring, and exposure across the Emmetts network.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a strong interest in Agriculture, Technology, or Agribusiness
Has recently completed (or is close to completing) a relevant qualification, such as:
Agriculture & Agronomy: Agricultural Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Ag Tech, Agronomy
Technology / IT / En: IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science
Business / Customer-Focused: Business (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain)
Additional qualities:
Enjoys building relationships and working with farmers
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Has a basic understanding of farming operations and practices (preferred)
Some exposure to precision ag technology, GPS or mapping software is advantageous, but not essential
Current Driver's License – essential
Previous experience is not required — we're looking for passion, potential, attitude, and willingness to learn.
