Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Division of Rehabilitation, Aged & Palliative Care– Occupational Therapy Hourly Rate: $35.01 p/hr - $42.73 p/hr plus 25% casual loading | AHP1 | Multiple Casual Vacancies Available Hourly Rate: $45.12 p/hr - $52.26 p/hr plus 25% casual loading | AHP2 | Multiple Casual Vacancies Available We are seeking dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic Subacute Services team! Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll develop and implement innovative treatment plans tailored to individual needs, enabling patients to regain independence and improve their overall quality of life. About the role: Reporting to the Director of Occupational Therapy, this role is responsible for the provision of comprehensive Occupational Therapy services providing a team centred approach to patient care resulting in improved outcomes for patients with a variety of disorders and disabilities. Positions may be located at Flinders Medical Centre, Repat Health Precinct or Noarlunga Health Service. Duties for the role will include: Providing specialised clinical Occupational Therapy services to maximise occupational outcomes of inpatients and outpatients in rehabilitation, transition services or GEM, receiving treatment from RAP Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering a compassionate and patient-centred approach to care. Liaising with other health professionals, service providers and the community to facilitate the safe and timely discharge, and improved independence and occupational outcomes for patients. Initiating and participating in quality and service improvement activities within teams About you: A degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, Demonstrated ability to undertake assessment and intervention with clients with a variety of disorders and disabilities relevant to older people and rehabilitation, Broad experience and clinical expertise in the provision of clinical Occupational Therapy services (assessment and treatment) to clients with a range of disorders and disabilities resulting from medical, surgical or neurological conditions, or cognitive impairment, Ability to supervise students, allied health assistants and junior staff, Ability to provide clinical services as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with patients and a range of professional and other staff, High level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, delegate appropriately and demonstrate initiative.
