Bowie Excavations & Retaining Walls is a growing construction business specialising in timber and concrete sleeper retaining walls and excavation across Geelong and surrounding areas.
We focus on quality work, strong systems, and building a solid team. We’re not a volume crew, we take pride in delivering high-standard retaining wall construction and doing the job properly.
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated labourer who wants consistent work and the opportunity to learn real construction skills within our business.

The Role
This is a hands-on role working directly with experienced operators and builders on:
* Timber sleeper retaining walls
* Concrete sleeper retaining walls
* Excavation and site preparation
* Steel post installation
* Drainage and backfilling
* General construction labour
* Operate machinery including excavators, a bobcat and forklift as required on job sites
You’ll gain experience in the full process of retaining wall construction, not just basic labouring.
The role begins with a 3-month trial period, with the opportunity to move into a permanent 4-day work week for the right person.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
* Is reliable and punctual
* Has reliable transport
* Holds a White Card (required)
* Has construction or landscaping experience (preferred but not essential)
* Holds an HR/HC license (a bonus)
* Bobcat / Forklift license (a bonus)
* Is willing to work hard, learn, and take direction
