With our service continuing to grow we are looking for two Support Workers experienced in psychosocial disability and complex mental health support, resilient, person‐centered, and confident in empowering individuals to build positive habits and daily routines. You will work across two Supported Independent Living (SIL) sites.

Your role
* Support adults with complex mental health and psychosocial disabilities in an independent living model.
* Rigorously follow BIS and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site manager to best support complex behaviours.
* Encourage capacity building to enhance clients' current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
* Promote choice and control and demonstrate eagerness to participate in clients' day to day routines, goals, and interests.
* Be efficient in computer skills and report writing.
Some Of Our Requirements
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks for this role but what's important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include mornings, afternoons, and sleepover shifts.
Additional Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required. Please note that the offer will be conditional on meeting these requirements.
