Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering Capital Expenditure ('Capex') Projects allocated within the Environments Portfolio. These projects may involve forensic investigations of existing assets to remediate known or unknown building issues, as well as programmed works for the wider Environments portfolio.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with professional consultants and building professionals to develop and deliver solutions to our growing assets portfolio. This role involves coordinating projects in South Australia, Victoria, and the Northern Territory, requiring travel to ensure delivery to our expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree or diploma in Project Management, or over three years' experience in a project coordination role (or similar).
* A current, valid driver's license.
* Previous construction and remedial experience in property, capital works, or project management.
* Budget monitoring experience, including analysis and monitoring of costs.
* Experience in construction project management and successful project delivery, preferably in retirement living, aged care development, and/or facilities management.
* The ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and technical information.
* Sound financial skills.
* Proven track record of document control and record keeping.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Sound report writing skills and great interpersonal skills for dealing with stakeholders.
* Good computer literacy and proficiency with the Google suite.
* Sound knowledge of construction and design processes.
* A basic knowledge of the Aged Care Standards applicable to this role.
