We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team in a Permanent Part-time role.
This is a great opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures, administering medications and providing emergency care when needed.
You will also assist physicians with procedures and collaborate closely with them, technicians and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
This role requires strong communication skills, ability to work Monday to Friday, Mornings and Evenings, and on-call 7 days week.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated extensive experience in acute cardiac nursing, with recent cath lab experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
* Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures
* Administer medications and provide emergency care when needed
* Assist physicians with procedures
* Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety
Requirements:
* Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
* Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal and written
* Ability to work Monday to Friday, Mornings and Evenings, and on-call 7 days week
* Computer literacy and commitment to personal development
* Preference for recent Advance Life Support training
* Demonstrated extensive experience in acute cardiac nursing, with recent cath lab experience
