Central Queensland Radiology (CQR) is part of the Integral Diagnostics Group and Imaging Queensland, a leading provider of quality diagnostic imaging services through its highly skilled medical professionals and investment in its technology platforms. Imaging Queensland currently operate quality assured practices that provides Medical Imaging and Radiology services from Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Central Queensland.
CQR currently operates 8 quality assured practices across Central Queensland, including Gladstone, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Biloela & Emerald. We have close ties to our sister company, Sunshine Coast Radiology, who have sites in private practice and hospitals across the Sunshine Coast.
In this role, you will also represent Mackay Radiology, which forms part of our wider IDX network, and travel to Mackay for one week every six weeks.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and passionate Referrer Relationship Specialist to join our team based in Central Queensland and Mackay. Reporting to the Queensland Business Relationship Manager, this would be an ideal opportunity for any administrative staff looking to grow their career, learn new skills, and utilize the knowledge you already possess of our service offerings, internal processes, billing, and Medicare guidelines. This role is based in Rockhampton, with a dedicated workspace provided at our QTV House location.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Consulting with key stakeholders and enhance awareness of Central Queensland Radiology and Mackay Radiology imaging services across Central Queensland and Mackay.
* Grow our referral base and engage with local healthcare providers, including GP Doctors and Allied Health Professionals.
* Successfully develop and nurture relationships through educational events, supporting and attending local marketing activities.
* Assisting in the implementation of marketing strategies in your territory
* Maintaining, managing and analysing the database of referrers
* Working together as a member of the Referrer Relationship Specialist team, working collaboratively with the Central Queensland and Mackay marketing team, and working with localised technical and administrative leaders.

* Proven networking aptitude for business growth and delivery of services
* Flexibility to work varied hours to attend out of hour's clinical information evenings and network opportunities
* Engaging professional style to build rapport with referring Doctors, Practice Managers and Reception Staff, with the ability to deliver exceptional service
* Ability to work independently, resourcefully and be self-motivated
* Excellent organisational skills to plan, promote and execute promotional lunches, information evenings and any other events as required
* Be technically minded ensuring referrers are well supported. An understanding of medical terminology is preferred but not essential. CRM experience maintaining a referrer database and experience with RIS/PACS or Radiology reporting programs is an advantage.
* Current Drivers Licence
* Medical sales, networking or business development experience is desired
* Flexibility to travel to Mackay every six weeks
