About the role
We are offering a fixed term role of Learning & Development Coordinator in the People & Culture team at our Head Office, West Leederville location. The purpose of the Learning & Development Coordinator position is to support the effective delivery and management of training programs within Relationships Australia WA (RAWA). By working closely with the Learning and Development Manager, this role ensures the smooth coordination of training logistics, resource management, and tracking staff progress, ultimately fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the company.
The current vacancy is full time 5 days per week.
Skills, experience, and qualifications
ESSENTIAL:
Experience in Learning and Development: Previous experience in a training or learning support role, with a solid understanding of training delivery, administration, and logistics.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) highly regarded.
Organisational Skills: Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate multiple training programs and administrative tasks simultaneously.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and support staff at all levels.
Attention to detail: Ability to manage training records, schedules, and resources accurately and efficiently.
Proficiency with Learning Management System: Experience using an LMS or similar software to manage, track, and report on training progress. RAWA works with Cypher Learning.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly, ensuring smooth training delivery and addressing staff needs.
Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues within the People & Culture team.
IT Literacy: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other digital tools for reporting and tracking.
DESIRABLE:
Relevant qualifications in Education, Learning Design/Instructional Design/eLearning, or a related discipline.
Experience with E-Learning Platforms: Familiarity with online learning tools and platforms (e.g., Articulate) for creating and delivering digital training content.
Project Management Experience: Experience managing or supporting L&D projects, including tracking deadlines and ensuring timely completion.
Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles: Understanding of adult learning theories and how to apply them in training program design and delivery.
Vendor Management Experience: Experience working with external training providers and managing vendor relationships.
Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to propose innovative solutions to improve logistics of training programs and staff engagement.
