Deiji Studios | Juem Woman are looking for a General Manager, Finance & Operations to run the day-to-day engine of our global fashion brands from our Head Office in Byron Bay.
This role has full responsibility for how the business operates— from financial performance and cashflow, to inventory, supply chain, ecommerce operations, and our growing physical store network, including a significant US business.
Reporting to the Directors, you’ll lead the team, keep the business running smoothly, and make sure the numbers, systems, and operations support continued growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail while still steering the bigger picture.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Run the Business
* Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a global, omnichannel fashion business
* Turn strategic direction from the Directors into clear plans and execution
* Take full ownership of business performance across ecommerce, retail, and operations
* Bring structure, rhythm, and accountability to how the business runs
* Lead and develop teams across head office, ecommerce operations, and stores
Own the Numbers
* Own the global P&L, cashflow, budgets, and forecasts
* Manage margins, pricing, product costing, and working capital
* Keep a close eye on inventory investment and stock flow
* Produce clear, practical reporting and insights for the Directors
* Work with banks, accountants, and advisors as needed
Ecommerce, Retail & Operations
* Oversee the operational side of the global ecommerce business, including fulfilment, inventory, and systems
* Lead physical retail performance at a high level — store economics, labour, profitability, and expansion readiness
* Manage international production, suppliers, logistics, and freight
* Coordinate inventory across ecommerce and stores to maximise sell‑through
* Improve systems and processes as the business grows
* Lead and manage teams across functions and regions
* Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration
* Hire, develop, and support strong managers and operators
* Make sure the business meets employment and workplace obligations
What We’re Looking For
* Experience running or significantly leading a fashion, apparel, or retail business
* Strong background across finance and operations, not just reporting
* Comfortable owning a P&L and making commercial decisions
* Experience with ecommerce‑led businesses, ideally alongside physical retail
* Confident managing inventory‑heavy, seasonal product cycles
* Practical, decisive, and comfortable in a founder‑style, fast‑moving environment
Nice to Have
* Experience with a US ecommerce or retail business
* International sourcing or manufacturing exposure
* Experience improving or implementing inventory, ERP, ecommerce, or POS systems
* Experience scaling a brand through growth stages
