Based from our Yatala Branch, we currently have a Fixed Term 6 Month Full Time opportunity for a Debt Collections Officer to join our team to assist with debt recovery, whilst simultaneously striving to give best possible service to our clients through effective collection calls, and the speedy and accurate response to queries.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Make and receive high volume outbound/inbound calls.
- Build strong relationships with our customers.
- Problem solving and objection handling.
- Create positive outcomes by negotiating hardship solutions with our customers.
- Maintain records of all customer interactions and payment agreements.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations and company policies governing debt collection practices.
**We are looking for**:
- 3+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable or Debt Collections.
- Experience working with Accounts Receivable Software Packages is highly desirable.
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to anticipate issues.
- A great communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An enthusiastic, independent person who loves building customer relationships, and who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service every time.
- A reliable, hard-working, and honest person with a mature approach.
- A team player and proactive self-starter who can work autonomously, with a drive to help all customers.
- A cheerful and professional customer service and telephone manner.
