The Position:
We are currently accepting applications for the position of International Onboarding Coordinator. We are looking for a committed team player join our expanding department.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in recruitment and mobilisation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Australian and overseas VISA processes is strongly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in French is highly regarded but not essential.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem solving,
- Strong planning, time management and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with candidates, corporate management and third-party contractors.
- Ability of engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds, both on the phone and face to face.
- Ability to work efficiently within team as well as autonomously.
- Understanding of the challenges associated with the mining industry.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Recruitment duties – creating job ads, shortlisting, interviewing and reference checks.
- Administration duties - creating purchase orders, updating databases, and tracking spreadsheets.
- Mobilisation duties – arranging and managing overseas VISAs and flights to various sites.
- Booking medicals and vaccinations for prospective and existing employees within Australia.
- Tracking of international medicals completed overseas.
- Ensuring all employees complete inductions and new starter forms.
- Preparation of documents to apply for work permits for Australian expats working overseas.
- Constant verbal and written communication with candidates, and various stakeholders and in-country HR managers.
- Attending weekly tendering meetings, as required.
