Senior Automation Project Manager - 30-Month Fixed Term Contract
Join a nationally significant transformation program delivering large-scale automation across the fulfilment network of a large Retailer. As Senior Automation Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the design, installation, and commissioning of a next-generation Distribution Centre.

The position reports to the Head of Automation, you'll lead the delivery of the automation project, coordinating a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You'll oversee supplier performance, manage project timelines and risks, and ensure successful integration with facility infrastructure and IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee automation vendor execution, contract deliverables, and site activity
* Maintain alignment with program milestones, stakeholder groups, and assurance requirements
* Manage site readiness, commissioning plans, testing phases, and change impact
* Deliver weekly reporting on schedule, cost, and risks
* Ensure compliance with internal frameworks and automation contract terms
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience delivering large-scale automated warehousing or fulfilment projects
* Strong coordination of cross-functional teams across supply chain, IT, property, and safety
* Experience working with automation vendors
* Project Management qualifications (Cert IV, Diploma, or above)
* Ability to work autonomously while keeping the bigger picture in focus
* Exposure to retail, logistics, or complex facility builds is highly regarded
