Director - Supply Chain
Permanent Full Time with monthly day off + 5 weeks annual leave.

About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director for Finance & Procurement, the Director will be responsible for overseeing the flow of goods, from tenders and procurement to logistics and distribution at Eastern Health. This role also delivers a long‑term supply strategy and plan in alignment with Eastern Health’s vision.
Responsibilities

* Create and deliver a long‑term supply chain strategy and plan.
About you
* Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience.
* The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Process improvement & change management skills.
* Ability to create a positive culture around development & improvement.
* A track record of achieving operational targets in a constrained budget environment.
* Experience in the health sector and formal qualifications in Business Management or Supply and Logistics is highly desirable.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal influenza vaccination is mandatory and must be up to date prior to employment.
