Overview
Finance Assistant role at BlueScope involves processing freight transactions and collaborating with logistics to support manufacturing finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately processing freight movements
- Preparing revenue on-charge for freight payments
- Responding to requests for information and customer service support
- Preparing month-end accruals and profit centre reconciliations
- Collaborating closely with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate freight transaction processing
- Managing and strengthening relationships with logistics carriers and internal stakeholders
- Providing continuous improvement and outstanding services within the Process and Logistics Finance team
About You
- Previous accounts or manufacturing experience, or recent/ final year undergraduate student in accounting, finance, or similar qualification
- Strong MS Excel skills and demonstrated operational engagement in transactional processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and customer focus
- Ability to problem-solve by identifying root causes and developing resolutions
- Proactive approach to building constructive and effective relationships
