Armajun Aboriginal Health Service is looking to recruit a full-time;
Practice Manager
There is currently an opportunity for a full-time, Practice Manager, based in Inverell to join our team. The Practice Manager will oversee ALL Armajun Service areas. The aim of the position is to;
· Provide leadership and support to the team including but not limited to Clinic Leads/Nurse Managers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, Medical Specialists and Medical Practitioners, across all Armajun sites
· Establish, implement, and monitor clinical service delivery standards to achieve high quality, culturally safe care.
· Oversee all clinic funding and Medicare income, ensuring systems and billing processes are compliant and efficient.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with funding bodies, government agencies, and partner organisations.

Selection Criteria:
Essential
· Diploma of Practice Management or equivalent, or willingness to obtain.
· Proven leadership experience in a primary health or allied health setting.
· Extensive understanding of Medicare, referral systems, and health service billing processes.
· Experience in staff management, coaching, and team development.
· Demonstrated success in change management and organisational improvement.
· Knowledge of Aboriginal health principles and commitment to culturally safe practice.
· High emotional intelligence, approachability, and professionalism.
· Strong leadership that inspires trust, respect, and accountability.
· Current NSW 'C' class Drivers Licence.
· National Police Check Clearance and Working with Children Check Clearance.
· Evidence of relevant immunisations
Desirable
· Be a person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
· Previous experience in a similar role in an Aboriginal Health Service,
· Cross cultural training (or willingness to obtain)
