About the Role
The General Manager - Service Delivery plays a pivotal leadership role within Karlup Aboriginal Corporation, guiding the delivery of culturally grounded, community-led services that achieve meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal people and families. Through active engagement across networks, forums and strategic collaborations, the General Manager amplifies community voice, builds trusted partnerships, and positions Karlup as a respected leader in culturally informed service delivery.
The role provides strategic and operational oversight of programs, supports frontline managers, and ensures services are delivered with integrity, excellence and alignment to Karlup's vision and cultural authority.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will:
* Lead and oversee service delivery: Provide strategic and operational leadership across all Karlup programs, ensuring high-quality, culturally grounded, client-centred outcomes, operational excellence, and compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements.
* Build and maintain relationships: Develop strong partnerships with community members, sector networks, funding bodies, and key stakeholders to elevate Karlup's profile and influence in the community services sector.
* Support and develop teams: Lead, mentor, and support frontline managers, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and staff wellbeing while building leadership capability across service delivery teams.
* Drive continuous improvement: Monitor program performance, identify emerging community needs, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance impact, efficiency, and sustainability.
* Contribute to organisational strategy and growth: Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives, funding submissions, and innovative service opportunities, ensuring alignment between program delivery and Karlup's broader goals.

What you'll bring
Proven ability to manage and develop teams, drive operational excellence, and deliver client-centred outcomes, ideally with Aboriginal-led or culturally informed programs
Strong understanding of trauma-informed, culturally safe, and best-practice service delivery
Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across community, government, and sector networks
A genuine commitment to supporting Aboriginal communities, amplifying voices, and fostering trust, collaboration, and cultural integrity
