Responsibilities
Provide respectful, person-centred care and support to young people in residential settings.
Implement transparent care plans and therapeutic programs tailored to individual needs.
Encourage inclusion through community access, recreational activities, and everyday learning.
Model courageous and positive behaviours, promoting safety and resilience.
Collaborate with families, caseworkers, and multidisciplinary teams to celebrate progress and overcome challenges.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and legislative compliance.

Toowoomba and surrounds
We offer a varied roster that includes weekday work and sleepover shifts.
This structure supports continuity of care and allows for meaningful engagement with clients.
Sleepover shifts are planned in advance and attract additional allowances.

About You
Experienced in supporting young people with complex behaviours and trauma
Empathetic, patient, and emotionally resilient
Confident working independently and collaboratively
An effective communicator who values transparency and respect
Passionate about achieving positive outcomes and celebrating success
Adaptable, courageous, and able to thrive in dynamic environments
Requirements
Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work, Child & Family Intervention, Community Services, or similar
Working with Children Check (Blue Card – Paid)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card – Paid)
Current QLD Driver's Licence (Green P accepted with approval)
Comprehensive car insurance and registration
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Completion or willingness to complete: Hope and Healing training, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Etrainu modules, and other relevant learning
