As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the heart of our customer experience, providing warm, efficient and solution focussed support to our community of loyal customers. You will handle enquiries across multiple channels, (email, phone and live chat) assist with online orders, returns and maintaining our long-term customer relations, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand's care and integrity.

About the role:
This is not your typical Customer Service role. We are looking for someone who wants variety in their role and someone who is happy to undertake administration duties, customer service and creative tasks as needed.
The role will include:
E-Commerce Administration:
 * Create new products in Shopify ensuring accurate product descriptions, images, pricing and variants are uploaded accurately and efficiently
 * Update product details as required, such as stock levels, tags and categories
Customer Service and Support:
 * Provide prompt, friendly service via email, phone, and chat, using CRM systems to log and track interactions
 * Maintain strong product knowledge to resolve inquiries and complaints, escalating when required
 * Process order edits, refunds, cancellations, and returns, including assisting customers at the warehouse receptio
 * Complete clerical tasks such as data entry, updating spreadsheets, and naming digital assets
Content and Community Engagement:
 * Participate in content creation (try-ons, Facebook Lives, Instagram Stories, TikToks, behind-the-scenes) and contribute to community-building activities such as the brand Facebook Group
 * Share styling ideas and outfit combinations to showcase products authentically, being comfortable on camera when needed
 * Encourage engagement across social platforms, promoting Karma East's values and strengthening customer connections
 * Manage customer reviews: process and approve submissions, respond to negative reviews, and contact monthly competition winners
About You

Qualifications / Experience:
 * Previous experience in customer service, retail or warehouse operation is desirable
 * Confident using computers with solid experience in navigating digital tools and platforms such as e-commerce systems, shared drives and spreadsheets
 * Ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
 * Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills with attention to detail
 * Passion for sustainability, ethical fashion and the Karma East mission
 * Excellent time management with the ability to work closely with our team and also independently
