We are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and build strong, lasting relationships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-driven business, understands recruitment, and has the drive to open new doors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities within target industries (IT, consulting, banking, government, etc.).
Proactively make outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to prospective clients.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of potential clients for recruitment services.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Meet with clients (virtually and in-person) to understand workforce needs and propose tailored recruitment solutions.
Work closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts and successful service delivery.
Achieve and exceed monthly / quarterly business development targets.
Represent Zone IT Solutions professionally at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
Key Skills & Attributes
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in the recruitment or staffing industry.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient with a growth mindset.
Knowledge of recruitment processes, workforce solutions, or IT consulting will be highly regarded.
Strong organizational and research skills to identify opportunities and build a pipeline.
