About the opportunity:
Position: Clinical Nurse Access Coordinator (Renal Unit)
Vacancy: Permanent Full-time
Location: Renal Unit / Medical Service Group / Townsville University Hospital
The Clinical Nurse as Renal Surgical Access Coordinator is required to manage and coordinate delivery of renal surgical access services for patients requiring dialysis.

Salary range: $4138.10 to $4431.10 p.f. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications/ professional registration/ other requirements
Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable.
Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
On call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
Probation period may apply.
