Job Summary:
A Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician is sought after to deliver quality service to customers, perform scheduled maintenance and safety checks.
* Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a designated territory and customer base
* Leveraging latest field-based mobile technology to manage daily work schedules
* Accurate inventory input on Company allocated service vans and customer sites
* Gaining experience in dealing with Australia's top-tiered customer base
* Participating in an initial 8-week onboarding and industry-leading training program
* Performing routine maintenance and completing service work - reactive and planned
* Accurately maintaining important service records of work performed
* Conducting customer-focused scheduled and 'breakdown' services
* Assisting in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs
* Recording notes and filing service records appropriately
* Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician highly regarded but not essential
* Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
