Job Title:
Transport Infrastructure Project Communication Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement communication strategies to support transport infrastructure projects in the North Coast Region.
* Provide high-level communication services and advice to senior leadership, project management, technical and professional staff on community engagement, stakeholder relationships, issues, and media management.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in building and sustaining relationships to enable collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes.
* Aptitude for adjusting to evolving environments and changing expectations.
* Experience in a strategic communication or community engagement role in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector.
* Demonstrated capability in community engagement, executive correspondence, public relations, and media.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing.
* International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) in Engagement certification.
What We Offer:
* 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension possibilities.
* Pay rates AO5.1 - $67.13, AO5.4 - $72.96 depending on experience.
