Build a successful career in development assessment and certification by joining our team as a Building Certifier Cadet. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience while working towards or finalising a recognised qualification in Building Surveying or construction management.
Guided by experienced professionals, you will develop practical skills in assessing development applications, issuing certificates, conducting inspections and applying the National Construction Code.
You will work across residential and commercial projects, supporting building certification programs, contributing to strategic planning outcomes and ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

To be eligible for this role, you must be currently enrolled in either a Commonwealth sponsored place at university or a registered training organisation, pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying; or in the penultimate or final year of study in Construction Management or Building Surveying qualification.
You should hold a Class C Driver's Licence and be keen to apply your learning in a practical, fast-paced environment.
This is a temporary two-year full-time position, with a weekly salary of $****** – $1,****** (depending on age and qualifications) plus 12% superannuation. You will also receive a study allowance to cover all course and associated study costs, ongoing training and development, flexible work arrangements and generous leave entitlements.
