This role supports the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures directly impacting the City Presentation Department What you’ll deliver Coordinate yard operationsincluding receiving/dispatching goods, vehicle loading/unloading, and maintaining site cleanliness and presentation.Ensure safety compliancethrough daily plant checks, safe equipment operation, and maintenance of the wash bay and triple interceptor.Support OH&S proceduresby conducting hazard audits, managing SWMS and MSDS, and guiding staff on safety data locations.Foster positive relationshipswith staff, contractors, and the community while contributing to the City Presentation department’s goals. What you’ll bring Relevant work experience; or qualifications with substantial experience.Competency in the use of relevant technology, including computers/mobile devices.Sound knowledge and practical application of OHS/WHS legislation, policies and procedures.Prior experience in a similar Facilities and/or OH&S Support role (Preferred).Drivers license for the use of loaders and forklifts.Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
