We are looking for a well‑rounded, experienced, and passionate Senior Designer / Project Architect to join our design team. OPTIMA is a family‑owned and operated business, renowned for our specialist dental and medical industry leading projects, offering end‑to‑end solutions from concept through to construction.
We operate nationally with our head office based in Geelong and offices in all capital cities throughout Australia, including a central Melbourne office close to Southern Cross station, where this role will be based.

POSITION SUMMARY
In the role of Senior Designer / Project Architect, you will be responsible for actively participating in and assisting to manage the day‑to‑day project work across all stages.

* Actively participate in and manage day‑to‑day project work across all stages.
* Assist in producing design concepts and renders.
* Manage and produce documentation throughout the design delivery process.
* Manage client and consultant communication and engagement.
* Work on unique projects from inception to completion.
ABOUT YOU
* Strong team player with outstanding technical skills and hands‑on Revit/BIM skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient in Revit.
* Good documentation and management skills.
* Good understanding of NCC and Australian Standards.
* Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure each project is aligned with complex project guidelines.
* Willingness to travel to client locations across Australia and periodically to our Geelong HQ.
