A Medical Oncologist plays a vital role in cancer patient treatment. Our hospital offers a comprehensive medical oncology service, including outpatient and inpatient consultations, admission services, and clinics at the Central Coast Cancer Centre.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
* Must possess MBBS or equivalent and be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Requires at least three postgraduate years working as a medical officer with related medical experience in relevant specialities.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment is essential.
* Excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise, with demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management are necessary.
* Strong time management, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
