Electrician - Leading Hand Hazardous Area/Instrumentation (Experience Required)

ARA Electrical is seeking an experienced Industrial Hazardous Area Electrician to perform service and installation work in the Port Botany Area 2036.
This role is ideally suited to someone from a heavy industry background with experience troubleshooting automated equipment.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Field service and breakdown support for a range of customers over varying industries
Preventative and corrective maintenance
Install & maintain electrical cabling & equipment
Fault find electrical faults on electric motors, variable speed drives & electrical control equipment
Experience and Skills
Be a Trade Certified and Licenced Electrician.
Cert III Instrumentation. (not essential)
Cert IV in Hazardous areas
NSW Drivers Licence
Maintenance experience in a process plant
Have excellent knowledge of current Australian Standards
Has a sound understanding of SCADA and PLC systems and associated ancillary software.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and fault finding in various circuits i.e. Motor circuits, motor controllers and instruments
Strong background in industrial automation and control systems
Have good communication skills
A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
Dedicated to customer satisfaction
Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability and desire to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call roster
Be motivated and have an excellent work ethic andattention to detail
