Position Description:
We are seeking a full-time IT Officer (Network Administrator) to join our expanding team based in Canberra. The role will be crucial in supporting our ongoing expansion and ensuring that our clients continue to receive top-quality service.
Core Responsibilities:
· Collaborate in planning and executing projects.
· Establish direct communication with our customers, internal staff, and vendors.
· Perform regular proactive maintenance and provide system status reports.
· Deliver exceptional support and expert advice on a wide range of systems and services.
Requirements:
· Recent industry qualifications and/or vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA) obtained within the last 2 years.
· Demonstrated expertise in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Server and Exchange environments.
· Experience with Microsoft Cloud environments (e.g., Office 365, Azure).
· Proficiency in Active Directory and Exchange migrations for both on-premises and cloud environments.
· Strong experience with various backup hardware and software technologies.
· Solid understanding of networking principles, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
· Preferred deeper knowledge in specific technologies, such as disaster recovery, replication, and system restoration.
· Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks accurately, with project management skills being a desirable asset.
· Effective teamwork and collaboration in a dynamic environment.
· Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, committed to continuous self-improvement and learning.
· A minimum of 2 years of experience in ICT with at least 1 year in Network support
· Applicants must have Bachelors degree in ICT and should be willing to undergo and pass police checks.
