Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable: levies, invoicing, collections, reconciliations
* Ensure AR records are accurate and up-to-date; resolve discrepancies efficiently
* Oversee annual testing and issue resolution of the billing engine
* Run fortnightly Accounts Payable compliance checks
* Conduct quarterly reviews of AP and procurement controls
* Identify and report compliance breaches or control weaknesses
* Support external audits (ANAO) with financial records and commentary
* Ensure all activity aligns with legislative and policy requirements
You'll Bring:
* Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and billing in a government, regulatory, or large corporate setting
* Strong grasp of AP compliance, financial controls, and audit environments
* Able to manage high-volume transactions with accuracy and efficiency
* Confident communicator with experience responding to external auditors
* Exposure to Oracle Financials (AR, AP, billing engine) is highly desirable
* Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or similar (preferred)
* Must be an Australian Citizen (due to Federal Government security requirements)
