This South Australian government agency is focused on delivering strategic initiatives that support environmental sustainability and community resilience. As part of their commitment to strong governance and operational integrity, they are seeking a Governance Project Officer to support key compliance and policy projects.
Your new role
In this role, you'll contribute to the development and refinement of governance frameworks and ensure alignment with best practice standards. You'll be responsible for a range of project-based tasks, including:
* Reviewing and updating the organisation's Gifts and Benefits policy
* Conducting the annual assessment of the Fraud and Corruption Control Framework, with reporting to the Chief Executive
* Drafting and finalising documentation for the Grant Management Framework
* Supporting the implementation of actions outlined in the Business Continuity Plan
This is a hands-on opportunity to influence governance outcomes and contribute to the agency's strategic direction.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you'll have:
* Experience conducting research and providing governance advice within a government or regulatory setting
* A strong background in designing, executing, and assessing governance and compliance programs
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and evaluate operational effectiveness
* Confidence working independently and collaboratively, with sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities
