The Technical Support Engineer will report to the Service Delivery Manager and will be based out of our offices in Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane, working five days a week in the office. This role is a 3-month contract.ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Support Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality and responsive technical support for Oper8 Global’s solutions, equipment, managed services, and desktop support for both external and internal customers. Responsibilities include:Reproducing customer environments and conducting testsManaging and efficiently addressing electronic ticketsProviding first-line technical support for hardware, software, and networksTroubleshooting and resolving IT issues for internal and external usersManaging Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and desktop environmentsSupporting and maintaining private cloud data, security solutions, and critical infrastructurePerforming system monitoring, maintenance, updates, and documentationContributing to continuous improvement and operational excellenceAdministering Unix/Windows serversQualifications & What We're Looking ForMicrosoft 365 Administrator certificationFortinet CertificationStrong written and verbal communication skills with over 4 years of technical support and troubleshooting experienceKnowledge of ISO 27001At least three years’ experience in a managed services environmentExperience administering Microsoft Active Directory and File ServersExperience managing multi-tenant Office 365 environmentsKnowledge of network and server hardwareExperience configuring FortiGate Firewalls and network switchesStrong understanding of ITIL standardsExperience in customer-oriented environmentsAbility to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused settingPassion for innovation, change management, and process optimizationEligibility for Baseline Security Clearance; only Australian citizens should apply.About UsOper8 Global is a leader in Data Centre & Cyber Security solutions worldwide.
