Bank of America is seeking a Vice President, Metals & Mining Equity Research Analyst, Global Research, Australia. The Australian Equities Research Team focuses on producing high quality and insightful research on listed companies and industry sectors in Australia, as well as on global thematic trends impacting sectors under coverage. The team aims to build long-term relationships with regional and global institutional investment firms, listed and unlisted companies, and key industry players. The role involves lead coverage in Precious Metals and other Metals & Mining stocks, collaborating with global resources research teams in HK, London, and NYC, and delivering strategic equity research and compelling tactical ideas to our clients.

Responsibilities
* Lead Analyst responsibility for Precious Metals and other Metals and Mining stocks, including production of thematic and company-specific strategic equity research and compelling tactical investment ideas.
* Develop forward-looking modeling, industry research and valuation projections to deliver high-quality research for clients.
* Deepen and expand relationships in the Australian Resources Sector with investor relations, company management, industry participants and institutional investors.
* Collaborate with local and regional colleagues on research projects to enhance the Natural Resources Research offering.
* Adhere to local and global regulations and firm policies to mitigate regulatory, operational, and reputational risk; demonstrate ethics and integrity in alignment with the bank's values.
Qualifications
* Relevant work experience in banking, sell-side equity research, buy-side investment analysis, or corporate experience forming a strong foundation for the role.
* Deep technical skills in company and industry analysis with business acumen to develop compelling research.
* Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills—able to develop relationships with internal stakeholders and teammates.
* Collaborative and creative mindset to work as part of the regional resources team.
* Meticulous attention to detail, drive to deliver results, and willingness to take responsibility for outcomes.
* Highly motivated, proactive, curious, and enthusiastic about equity research.
