Traffic Management Designer
Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Traffic Management Designer to join a leading organisation based on the Gold Coast.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and updating Traffic Management Plans in line with current legislation and relevant Australian Standards, supporting a diverse client base across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop Traffic Management Plans in accordance with legislation, company policies, procedures, and applicable Standards
* Ensure all plans are accurate, compliant, and delivered efficiently within required timeframes
* Conduct both desk-based and on-site compliance audits
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with Council planning departments, Road Authorities, and Public Transport Authorities
* Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
About You
* Current TMR Traffic Management Design (TMD) Licence (essential)
* Proven experience in Traffic Management (essential)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using RapidPlan (Invarion)
* Experience with Nearmap
* High attention to detail with strong time management and adaptability
* Solid understanding of safety systems and risk assessments
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
