Provide high-level authoritative, strategic, and independent advice with a whole-of-agency perspective to a broad range of stakeholders. Provide leadership and build functional excellence in delivering People and Culture Branch activities and managing resources. Period of Appointment: Fixed-term appointment for five years. Duties: Provide high-level advice on complex people and culture matters to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and relevant boards and committees. Lead the development and implementation of organizational strategies and initiatives to enhance workforce capability, planning, and a high-performing, client-focused culture. Lead, develop, and implement strategies and initiatives to build workforce capability and foster a positive organizational culture. Collaborate with the State Growth Executive to lead the department's culture and values initiatives. Advise on and lead change initiatives to foster an adaptive, change-ready culture, including workforce development plans. Manage relationships with stakeholder groups, providing advisory and consultancy services. Advise the Deputy Secretary on workforce interventions to meet evolving demands. Manage and develop the People and Culture Branch, ensuring quality services and compliance with legislation and policies. Promote a workplace culture that demonstrates zero tolerance for violence against women and supports respectful relationships, including compliance with White Ribbon Australia requirements. Represent the department at government forums on employment and people development initiatives.
