We are looking for skilled Diamond Drillers who have a solid background in drilling techniques. This role involves operating Diamond drilling rigs and equipment, overseeing the drilling process, and ensuring all operations comply with company and safety standards. This position is FIFO from Perth and requires a robust commitment to maintaining high safety and operational standards in remote locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate Diamond drilling rigs and auxiliary equipment.
* Perform daily checks and maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure smooth operation.
* Monitor drilling progress, manage field data, and adjust operations as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Train and supervise assistant drillers and other crew members.
* Manage and report on supply inventory at the drilling site.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Diamond Driller with a strong understanding of drilling operations.
* HR (Road Ranger or higher) driver's license is essential.
* Cert IV in Drilling Operations is highly preferred.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
