Graphic Artist Role
The Graphic Artist is responsible for providing design services to the Network 10 newsroom and other Operations divisions. The role involves liaising with Producers and Reporters, helping them clearly communicate stories to the public.
This fast-paced role requires effective and accurate communication, excellent time management, and the delivery of high-quality graphics production. Key responsibilities include:
* Production of 2D/3D static and animated graphics: receiving and processing graphic requests from Producers and Reporters, ensuring all deadlines are met with quality graphics that fulfill all requirements.
* Shift Leading: attending morning editorial meetings, helping manage daily workloads, liaising with Executive Producers from each market, and quality-checking graphics.
* Helping train junior designers to advance their skills and knowledge.
* Working on projects (e.g., graphics packages, themed elements, new templates, etc.).
The ideal candidate will possess exceptionally high levels of organizational skills, effective problem-solving abilities, mature and friendly communication skills, and a proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office. Vizrt, 3D, and programming skills are a definite advantage.
