About the role
1. Lead, manage and grow the service department
2. Oversee service delivery to clients — ensuring high standards of performance, compliance, safety and client satisfaction.
3. Manage work scheduling, resource allocation, technician performance, quality assurance and after-sales support.
4. Ensure the business's service management software is properly utilised and efficient.
5. Provide leadership, coaching and development to the service team.
6. Collaborate with the account manager to maintain and grow service contracts and client relationships.
7. Monitor KPIs, service profitability, budgets and reportingli>
8. Ensure compliance with WHS, quality and ISO requirements, as applicable.
9. Work cross-functionally with projects, design and installation teams to deliver an integrated service offering.
About you
* 3+ years Service Management experience with a strong trade background in HVAC service & maintenance
* Comfortable recruiting, building and leading a service team
* Proficient with service management software i.e. SIMPRO and confident with technology, reporting and service workflow systems.
* Excellent communication, leadership, client-service orientation and organisational skills.
* Strong business acumen — you'll be responsible for service profitability and operational efficiency.
