The Role
The TRC has launched a pilot program in collaboration with the NSW Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC). The Forensic Practitioner / Clinician TRC is primarily responsible for multidisciplinary assessments, treatment/interventions, co-care coordination, and liaison with stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated experience working in forensic mental health practice (e.g., risk assessment, clinical risk management, psychological treatment of problem behaviours).
About the Service and Location
The Treatment and Rehabilitation Clinic (TRC) is one of three services within NSW Community Forensic Mental Health Service (CFMHS). It uses a multidisciplinary, collaborative care model focused on recovery, rehabilitation, and community safety. It provides evidence-based biopsychosocial treatment and rehabilitation services to support recovery from complex disorders associated with offending. The TRC is community-based and will provide initial prison in-reach services to support future clinic patients. The initial focus is on evidence-based assessment and treatment for problem sexual behaviours, with expansion to other problem behaviours over time. The TRC is located in a brand-new clinic in Surry Hills, near Central/Museum stations with bus and light rail access nearby.
Salary & Benefits
Your salary is $109,247 - $133,156 per annum (Pro-rata for Part time) plus superannuation. You'll have access to:
