We're ready to help you do it.The Purpose:This role is responsible for determining and managing the day-to-day project activities, planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to project objectives, while also managing resources, and risks, including change management and stakeholder management to successfully deliver an end-to-end solution for AP+ and its members/customers. Finally, role modelling, coaching and mentoring team members to ensure a consistent capability of delivery.This role is critical in ensuring the success of our initiatives aimed at protecting our organization from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project management, specifically within the cybersecurity field, coupled with an ability to lead cross-functional teams.This is a 12 months fixed term contract roleThe core accountabilities of the role will include:Developing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation and coordinating project teams, ensuring tasks are completed according to plan, and managing project resources effectively.Tracking project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.Maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including project team members, and management.Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact project success.Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.Managing project resources, including human resources, equipment, and budget.Overseeing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within budget constraints.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.Overseeing the delivery of the Cyber Squad workstreams & provide support to other squads as needed.The capabilities needed to be successful for this role are:Expertise in IT project management, and a successful track record as a senior project management overseeing enterprise-wide technical projects, including Cyber Security projects.Experience in working group coordination, participation, and reporting.Experience in implementing Cyber Security Projects such as SOCI, ISO or PCI compliance.Experience in managing small teams.Experience in building and managing customer/client working with internal and external stakeholders, vendors.Qualifications and/or significant experience in project methodology (PMBOK/Prince II/ Agile) and relevant tertiary methodology working knowledge (PMBOK/Prince II/ Agile).Knowledge of MS Project, JIRA and similar tools.Knowledge of the Privacy Act, SOCI, ISO27001, PCI-DSSWhat happens next:At AP+, we believe in the power of passion, pride, and purpose.
