About The Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Join our team of skilled nurses who are well equipped to care for patients undergoing a range of minor to complex colorectal surgery. You will become upskilled in CVAD care, stoma nursing, complex wound and drain care, administration of parenteral nutrition and work across a dynamic multidisciplinary team. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
- Ability to work a rotating roster (inclusive of mornings, afternoon and night duty).
- Previous colorectal nursing experience is preferred.
- Must have current Australian Working rights.
