As an Oral Health Promoter, you will play a vital role in helping us make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities across rural Australia.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is dedicated to providing essential health services to those who need it most. Our team is passionate about improving oral health outcomes and reducing health disparities in remote areas.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our dental team as an Oral Health Promoter. In this role, you will work closely with dentists, dental assistants, and oral health therapists to deliver high-quality oral health care services to rural communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travel to remote communities and provide oral health education and promotion services.
* Work collaboratively with the dental team to develop and implement effective oral health programs.
* Assist with data collection and reporting to ensure the effectiveness of our oral health initiatives.
* Contribute to the development of new oral health projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Hold a current Light Rigid Licence as a minimum.
* Hold a current Working With Children check.
* Be willing to travel and stay overnight in remote areas for up to a week at a time.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
