* Provide research leadership aligned with the institution's strategic plan, driving impactful projects that advance knowledge and practice in nursing and midwifery.
* Supervise Higher Degree Research students and sessional staff, fostering their growth and development as educators and researchers.
* Act as Course Chair or Deputy Head of Program when required, overseeing program delivery and ensuring academic excellence.
* Foster strong partnerships with clinical, industry, and government stakeholders, promoting collaboration and advancing institutional goals.
About You

* Registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse/Midwife is essential.
* A doctoral qualification (or substantial progress toward completion) in a relevant field is required.
* Demonstrated excellence in tertiary teaching and curriculum design is crucial for success in this position.
* A growing research profile with evidence of external funding and impactful publications is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Check is required.
