Key Responsibilities
* Working within the Brisbane team, you will carry out service of equipment, after hours service, commissioning & service contracts for Vertiv customers across QLD
* Ensure service reports are completed & submitted efficiently.
* Time Sheets to be filled out correctly (i.e., accurate record of hours worked, & call out & response times) submitted to Senior Management.
* Field Service Reports to be completed for service calls ensuring the reports are signed by the customer.
* All items used on a job, whether Vertiv spares or consumables must be detailed on the Reports.
* Carry out commissioning, service contract maintenance & after-hours service commitments.
* Maintain relationships between the Company & customers.
* Keep up to date with provided training courses by Vertiv as technology progresses.
* Manage parts & stock for breakdown and spares for customer installation.
* Identify Sales & Service opportunities for the Vertiv, & report to Management.
Requirements:
* Electrical license for QLD Australia essential
* Proven track record within the power industry as a service technician essential
* Technical knowledge in data centres, telecom, commercial & industrial or similar industries highly regarded.
* The ability to own your own work schedule, work from home & visit customers on site.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Sufficient Computer Literacy
* Excellent communication, inter-personal & problem-solving skills.
