Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead efforts to embed a robust risk culture and ensure compliance with evolving legislation.
* Provide hands-on support and oversight to operational teams, bringing a disciplined and systematic approach to risk and control evaluation.
* Collaborate with legal, Level 2 functions, business units, and senior leaders to review policies, resolve audit findings, and identify process enhancements.
* Drive governance excellence through regular policy reviews and proactive risk workshops.
What You'll Bring:
* A solid grasp of risk and control principles, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory requirements.
* The ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation.
* Exceptional communication and executive reporting skills.
* Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to uncover and address control gaps.
* High attention to detail and strong time-management to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
* 5+ years in Financial Services, ideally with exposure to insurance, risk, or compliance.
* At least 3 years in risk, compliance, or corporate governance roles.
* Tertiary qualifications in Risk, Compliance, Business, Commerce, Finance, or Law.
* Strong understanding of ISO 31000 Risk Management principles.
