**Role**:
Sub School Support Officer - 9am - 3.00pm 5 Days Per week
**Responsibilities**:
**Sub School Support Officer - 9am - 3.00pm 5 Days Per week**
The Wellbeing Support officer will work closely with Wellbeing Team (Social workers, Youth Group Worker and School Nurse) and Year Level Coordinators to actively support students and their families to promote successful outcomes for all students. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, looking for a challenge to help develop this new role within the college and enjoy working with young people.
Responsibilities may include:
- Support the wellbeing and year level coordination team with administrative services including arrangement of student support meetings.
- Implement attendance processes across the college, 7-12. This includes truancy, school refusal, unapproved absences, holiday absence plans and multi day suspension absence plans.
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with families.
- Provide routine clerical or other administrative support responsibilities.
- Maintain, enter and retrieve data from the schools IT systems, such as the school's records system, including computerised student, staff and school records.
- Source basic data or factual information from given sources to support school administrative functions.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective administration procedures.
- Support and assist first aid when required.
- Other duties as requested by Principal.
